About Us

Hi! I'm Steph, and I can't thank you enough for visiting my website! 

I'm a mom to 2 young kids, Jacob is 6 and Mia is 3. I've been married to my biggest supporter, Kyle, for almost 9 years. I am also a supply teacher, as well as the sole maker behind Costa Creations &Co! 

CC&C was started in 2019, after feeling the need to channel my creativity and do something for me. Something separate from my children, something just for me. My first machine was my Cricut Maker, which allowed me to create vinyl stickers. I recall one day watching a video of someone using some sort of tool to create 3D signs. I'd never touched nor owned a power tool in my life, but I just knew I needed to try this, and thus sparked my love for scrolled 3D signs! 

Since then, I've taken over our garage, have more tools than I can count on 2 hands, and have acquired skills I've never thought possible, all self-taught. I've also gained a new confidence in myself, seeing my skills improve over the last 2 years, and proving to myself that impossible is truly nothing. We are the only thing holding ourselves back, and we are capable of anything we put our mind to! 

It has come with its challenges - from close family and friends doubting me, to hurdles and failures while trying something new, figuring out how to balance mom life, maker life, teacher life. But boy, I wouldn't change it for the world! I love sharing my story, sharing my experiences - both successes and failures, and giving to the maker community as well as my amazing customers!
